Summer feasting. Enjoying the local produce (from our garden). A bean salad I semi-invented (with brocolli and peppers from the garden) and our tomatoes and peppers on the right. The yellow guys aren't ours.

I wish I could eat with you. All the food on your blog sounds so interesting and nutricious, even though I do have to have meat sometimes!

Kerry, it would be great to have you over :)
Karen, yes, we grow a bunch of stuff...kale, swiss chard, brocolli, lettuce, beans, peas, tomatoes, beets.
My dad in-law, where we have our garden, has chickens:)
We're also enjoying a few of his figs (my favorite fruit now), zuchinni and cucumbers.
Things grow well here.

Thank you for the glorious tomatoes and terrific peppers. We enjoyed them very much. They tasted delicious. I think the tomatoes had summer sun inside them.
