Sarah is 3 now!

So, Sarah and I went to a new park yesterday for Sarah's b-day. It's the elementary school playground. There was a merry-go-round there! First time for Sarah. Later after her nap, some flowers & a fuzzy friend were discovered, that had been delivered from Opa and Oma. Then we had a spagetti dinner with pickles Sarah and Andy had canned together in the summer. She was very excited about these as she loves pickles. Then a small ver y decadent brownie cake. I had so much fun decorating it. The icing I made up and has peanut butter in it. She wanted me to blow the candles out the first time, but then later blowed them out twice herself. For snack time she finished her piece of cake and I think the sugar contributed to exciteness and she took a long time to fall asleep.
A good and exciting day. Also a few phone calls from grandparents and today a postcard and another card and a plaster of paris project to make farm animals who are drying right now.
We look forward to having family over on Sunday for the birthday party.
